November 1 Worship
"The Greatness of Humility"

What makes a life truly great? Is it our accomplishments, recognition, or influence?
Or does Jesus offer a different understanding of greatness?

This Sunday, November 1, we continue our fall sermon series, “Becoming the Beloved Community,”
with Pastor Pete's message, “The Greatness of Humility,” based on Matthew 5:1–12.

Through the Beatitudes, Jesus reminds us that true greatness is found not in worldly success,
but in humility, mercy, peacemaking, and faithful service to others.

On this All Saints’ Sunday, we will remember and give thanks for those who have entered the Church Triumphant. Worshippers will have an opportunity to light candles in loving memory of family members and friends who have died.

Join us Sunday, November 1:

8:45 a.m. – Modern-style worship in the Family Life Center
11:00 a.m. – Traditional-style worship in the Sanctuary

Holy Communion will be celebrated at both services.

Come worship with us as we remember the saints, celebrate God's enduring grace,
and discover what it means to live a life of true greatness through Jesus Christ.
